The Rigging Loft Management course is designed to provide personnel with the knowledge and practical understanding required to manage and control lifting equipment within an offshore rigging loft. The course focuses on safe storage, inspection, maintenance, documentation, issuing, receiving, and traceability of lifting gear in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

During the training, participants learn how to manage lifting equipment inventory, apply segregation and quarantine systems, identify common defects, use colour coding and certification records, and maintain audit-ready documentation. The course also covers the operational link between the rigging loft and lifting activities, including communication with crane operators, banksmen, riggers, supervisors, and integration with lift plans, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
